Who sells FileMate

FileMate is sold by the sole trader (autónomo) named in the legal notice, trading as RAHV-LABS: C/ Gonzalez Tablas 5, 08034 Barcelona, Spain, NIF 46422240Y, rahv1516lm@gmail.com. Payments are processed by Mollie, which isn’t the seller.

What you buy

FileMate is downloadable software for macOS. You pay once: there’s no subscription and no account, and FileMate doesn’t need a licence key.

Before you buy, check that it suits your Mac and your files:

• It needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on a Mac with Apple silicon or Intel.
• Its Finder extension has to be turned on once in System Settings. FileMate shows you where.
• It works with the files listed on the Actions page and in supported formats. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are converted without Microsoft Office, and the PDF can differ from Office in places. Older .doc, .xls and .ppt files aren’t supported.
• It processes your files on your Mac and works offline.

Price and payment

The price shown on this website is the final price in euros, VAT included. You pay on Mollie’s checkout page, and we email a confirmation of your purchase to the address you give at checkout.

Getting FileMate

You can download FileMate as soon as your payment is complete, on the page you return to after paying and with the link in your purchase confirmation. The link is for your purchase only. If your payment is refunded or reversed, it no longer downloads FileMate.

Right of withdrawal

If you buy as a consumer, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason. For digital content such as FileMate, that right ends when the download is made available to you, but only if, before paying, you asked for FileMate to be supplied straight away and acknowledged that you would lose the right. The checkout asks for both with a box that you tick yourself, and your purchase confirmation repeats what you agreed to.

If the right still applies to your purchase, tell us within 14 days of buying, for example by email with the form below. We refund your payment within 14 days of receiving your message, with the same payment method and at no cost to you.

If FileMate doesn’t work as described

FileMate must match its description on this website and work as described there. If it doesn’t, Spanish consumer law entitles you to have it fixed and, if that isn’t possible, isn’t done within a reasonable time or the fault is serious, to a price reduction or a refund. The seller is responsible for faults that appear within two years of supply. Write to rahv1516lm@gmail.com and describe what happened.

Nothing in these terms limits these rights or any other right you have as a consumer.

Your files and personal data

FileMate processes your files on your Mac and doesn’t upload them. Privacy explains what the app, this website and the checkout do with personal data.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country, and you can take a claim to the courts where you live.
