Does FileMate upload my files?
No. Everything is processed on your Mac, and every action works offline. Privacy
Where are the results saved?
Next to the original, as a new file: Report.docx gives Report.pdf. Existing files are never overwritten, and you can change how new files are named in Settings › Naming.
Can I process several files at once?
Yes. Select them all and choose the action once. Each file is processed on its own, so one problem file doesn’t stop the others.
How accurate is Office to PDF conversion?
Close, but not always identical to Microsoft Office. Text, tables, pictures and charts are kept. Spacing, fonts your Mac doesn’t have and complex layouts can come out differently. Known differences
What do I do after installing?
Open FileMate once and turn on its Finder extension in System Settings. The welcome window has a button that takes you there. Steps
